Nguyen Coffee Supply

12 oz Phin Filter

Our 12 oz Phin Filter fits on most mugs and can make 1-2 servings of highly caffeinated brew.

We recommend a 1:2 ratio of coffee to water. So start with 6 tablespoons of coffee, then you can add or decrease your coffee depending on how strong you like it. Super versatile!

With the 12oz Phin, we highly recommend doing a second pour of hot water since some of the water always gets absorbed by the coffee.

This Vietnamese brew tool is perfect for your daily grind.

  • No paper filter - it's sustainable!
  • Stainless steel
  • 12 oz chamber with 4.375 inch plate diameter
  • Great for traveling
  • Perfect brew in 6-7 minutes

Buy one for the price of 4 lattes and use it everyday. It's a game changer. You'll thank us later.

Love this filter

I used it for the first time today and LOVED it. Can't wait for this to be my morning routine every day. Shout out to NCS's customer service team for getting the filter to me after several delivery problems!

Best Cup of Coffee I've Ever Had

Wow. I am completely blown away by the Phin Filter. I have a variety of coffee brewing devices, from a traditional coffee pot, to a cold brew drip system, to a glass pour over system. No matter which I used, I was always dissatisfied with the taste of the coffee, and the cleanup was an absolute pain (especially being the only coffee drinker in the house). It also felt really wasteful to use a paper filter every time, and the reusable mesh filters I bought to replace those always left my coffee muddy and still uses a bunch of plastic. The Phin Filter, on the other hand, is all stainless steel, and can be cleaned in under 30 seconds. Unlike traditional pour over coffee systems, the gravity press prevents clumps of coffee from floating up to the surface of the water. Unlike the watery mess those systems make, this system makes a deep, rich tasting coffee. Especially using the grinding instructions provided (a fine grind), it creates a delightfully smooth taste. The brew time is just long enough, and especially when following the suggestion for brewing temperature, the coffee I've been enjoying wasn't bitter at all. I'm never making coffee any other way again. What's great is that the filter also comes in different sizes, allowing you to choose whether or not you make a small or large batch. Thank you for making this filter!! I'm telling everyone I can.

Bought this as a gift

Bought two different sets for two of my friends and they loved it! Also they let me try the coffee (we made vietnamese coffee with condensed milk). I forget the name (it’s the most popular one) and I am actually not a fan of coffee but I loved this so much! The flavor was deep and full and it really went well with the condensed milk.
