Saw this at Whole Foods with condensed milk written on the side immediately thought hell yeah I’ll try this. I’m a huge fan of Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. Thinking this was gonna be like the OG sweet style, nope! What a disappointment, no condensed milk flavor anywhere to be found and its extremely watered down coffee. Supposed to be robust flavor like it says on the can, yeah a robust water taste more like it. Like they pour an oz of hot coffee over a venti and let it melt and that’s the flavor you get. It says 180mg of caffeine on the can but the taste to caffeine ratio doesn’t make any sense. The disrespect to market this as Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk when it taste nothing like it…

I took a chance and copped some Nguyen true grit coffee. I am from a neighborhood that takes coffee very seriously. The Bagley district in Detroit is where all the musicians from motown lived. From Stevie Wonder to Marvin Gaye lived on my street. And there are quite a few coffee joints in my neighborhood. I had your coffee this morning and it was some of the best that I have ever had. I have told all of my coffee partners about true grit. And very soon the northwest side of Detroit will be on your line

First off, I opened the box and the aroma is out of this world. Crisp and fresh. Made an espresso and the smooth taste and flavor is top notch. I purchased as gist as well. I will purchase again.

I gotta speak the truth with this review. I purchased it because of all the ads run on Facebook. And they talked about fresh roasted coffee every week. I purchased a trio that is two months old , not what I consider fresh beans. I opened up the bag of Robusto Saturday morning did a pour over and the coffee was flavorless very disappointed not anything what I expected. Unfortunately, I will not be purchasing anymore of this coffee.
