Dark Trio, 12oz filter and 500ml server
All three dark roast coffees taste amazing! They bring me back to my favorite little cafes in Ho Chi Minh!
I've been searching all my local Asian, grocery stores for legit Vietnamese coffee, and have yet to been able to find some. So I was extremely happy to find Nguyen coffee on Insta.
The filter works great but, the server is fantastic! It has a great spout and I get a perfect pour each time. I never get that annoying extra drip when I finish pouring like so many other servers I have used in the past.
I have always used a 4oz filter and just filled the filter twice for each brewing.
With the 12oz filter, I run two rounds of water through and there is enough coffee for 4ish cups of coffee (small cups).
If you wanna have enough for multiple people, that are not used to the smaller serving size of VN coffee then I would recommend getting the largest filter and server.
The 500 with the 12oz filter to me, still counts as a single serving type of deal. But, I am used to drinking Americano all day long. For me I can't get all the coffee I want and then also share it with somebody else too.
I also just ordered a mug warmer to sit the server on while I'm drinking from my fancy little cup. Hopefully this will keep the extra coffee nice and hot while I enjoy my cups throughout my morning.

The phin rests in a lid that sits on the cup or server and it does not fit 😔
The metal protector does not fit so the phin falls in !! What’s a mess with the coffee powder so can the bottom lid of the phin be made larger to fit any cup
