I Love this coffee! I'm not much on nuance flavors. I have never been aware of having 100% robusta but it knocked my socks off as a cone filter brew. I brewed in a chemex later and it is just the ticket. Smooth, bold. Love it.

Hooked on Hanoi

I had just finished a 5 lb. bag of Hanoi and since it's currently not available, I thought I'd give the Dark Roast Trio a shot. This way I'd at least get a 12 oz bag of Hanoi AND get to try two other dark roasts. For me, Hanoi is by far the most delicious, awesome and flavorful coffee. Saigon is just okay. It's brighter than Hanoi. If I compare it to music, I'd say Saigon has more on the treble end while Hanoi has more bass. As for Dalat, I'm not a fan. It just doesn't have the flavor profile of Hanoi. I hope 5 lb bags of Hanoi return before the 12 oz bag is gone.

I was in Vietnam not too long ago and really enjoyed their coffee. I expected the Robusto to be a little darker than it was. I purchased a three pack and so far have only tried the Hanoi blend, but like I said, I thought it was gonna be darker.
