Introducing our Limited Edition Anaerobic Robusta! This new roast features 100% robusta processed in the innovative anaerobic method and has tasting notes of candied orange peel, passion fruit, and clove.
Anaerobic robusta refers to robusta coffee that has been fermented and left out to dry prior to roasting. As a result, the coffee acquires unique levels of sweetness and fruitiness. The coffee cherries are hand-picked when fully ripened and then twice cleaned by farmers. After 8 days of fermentation, the coffee cherries are sun dried over a period of 25 additional days. After this period of time, the cherries are processed to become green coffee beans ready for roasting.

This is the most interesting, smooth, delicious coffee we have ever tried! We are light roast drinkers (I was tired of the acidity tho) so we weren’t sure how we’d feel about this coffee but it is just incredible…I’m about to buy another bag right now. The fruity flavors are dominate (to me), which isn't my jam. I will make this one as a pour-over, or through the phin, but the fruitiness is far too pronounced to me to make it into espresso. And yes, I tried it with all three methods. If you like fruity flavors, you'll probably enjoy this one.

Robusta coffee is the bomb!
I was curious to try this species of coffee, as I have only used arrabica beans in the past. I am very happy I did. This coffee is delicious! So good, smooth, tasty, and a bit more of a caffeine kick!

Intriguing
Intriguing and very pleasant aroma in the cup, somewhat reminiscent of Mexican hot chocolate. Subtle taste also intriguing and pleasant, most notable is how long even a sip lingers. Very smooth and earthy. Will drink this as intermittent break from more traditional coffee.
