While working in Bangladesh during the summer of 2019, I visited Vietnam. I spent eight days traveling the beautiful country taking in the wonderful art and trying all the various types and brews of coffee. Since returning to the US, I’ve raved to my husband about how much better the coffee was in Vietnam and how I miss it. Enter Nguyen Coffee. When I discovered this coffee in December, I was ecstatic and decided to purchase the variety pack and the multiple phin set for myself as a birthday present and eagerly awaited its arrival. I promptly made my husband try it, and he was immediately hooked. He’s even learned to make egg coffee for us! As someone keenly aware of issues in supply chains and the lack of ethical sourcing for things such as coffee, I am always looking to support fair trade/ethically source/slave-free products. So, the direct and ethical sourcing of this coffee, along with the fact it is a woman-owned company, had us hooked! We have since subscribed and Nguyen is now our go-to coffee supplier. Thank you for creating this and bringing the amazing world of Vietnamese coffee to the US!
Moxy is a fantastic, fruity nosed, well balanced combination of complex flavor and body. As a part time home roaster and a full time coffee lover I appreciate the wide spectrum of flavors that can be obtained depending on the method of brewing. I went in for 5 lbs so I could share with my family and introduce them to this gem from Vietnam. Thank you Nguyen Coffee!
I have Jura ENA8 and this bean is perfect one that I can tell after trying so many beans
My husband is an avid coffee drinker and quite picky. I bought Moxy for him to try. Now it’s his favorite coffee, and I have to buy it by the 5 lb bag for him. He says it’s smooth and not bitter.
The description says it best "super smooth and fruity without the high acidic sour coffee vibe"; is totally on point and will most likely purchase it again once my current supply runs out.
