YEAR OF THE ENERGY

I decided to give these coffee beans a try, and I must say I do not regret it. I bought the popular trio packet, and I find them delightful. I look forward to trying their other options in the near future.

Just made my first cup of TRUEGRIT using my Aeropress and flow control filter cap.. and modified James Hoffmann Espresso recipe.. 18 grams of coffee grind fairly fine. 90 grams of water .. I use 197° Fahrenheit. Stir for 10 seconds aggressively.. steep for One minute .. it will build a crust on top .. then I do my signature move “earth quake” shake and swirl untill grounds settle .. press through the hiss .. should get close to 70 grams of coffee.. pour a bypass of 120 grams more of water .. and boom .. a tasty cup of TRUEGRIT

This is the 4th time I’ve ordered the 6 different blends of Nguyen coffees.. Originally I wanted to find my favorite. I’ve decided they are all my favorites. I enjoy them all and look forward to my pour over every morning,regardless of the region or blend.

Ordered their essentials kit 14 BUSINESS days prior to Christmas as a gift after the website said it would be delivered in 3-7 business days. Product never arrived. The customer service rep said it was being delivered and I'd just have to wait for it whenever it shows up. It finally arrived after new years, and they won't allow me to return it or issue a refund. Please don't support this business, as they don't care about you.

All your coffee is very good, and I like switching up between Robusto and Arabic, sometimes combining both.
